Senior Channel Development Manager

Salary dependent on experience, competitive benefits.

Overall purpose:

Reporting to the Head of North America, the US Senior Channel Development Manager will be a critical member of vielife's team in the US. He/she will have a proven background of channel development in the health management sector, ideally coming out of the Preventative Health/Disease Management/Behavioral Health world.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Identifying and qualifying channel opportunities in the US healthcare marketplace
  • Execute business development and marketing programmes to meet channel revenue and gross profit targets
  • Drive revenue and margin growth through channel sales to their client base
  • Manage, prioritize and track all activities through Salesforce.com, including responsibility for personal pipeline and 'touch marketing'

Qualification/professional/technical skills and knowledge:

  • 5+ years experience in a 'blue-chip/pedigree' sales environment selling into and developing B2B channels
  • Experience of working direct and through partners to win Healthcare Channel business
  • Proven ability in B2B sales, based around consultative sales practice in both new business and building and delivering sales via channel partners
  • Preference of coming out of the Preventative Health/Disease Management/Behavioral Health world
  • Proven ability to meet targets and deliver new and incremental revenue, managing the sales cycle from open to close
  • Proven success at selling 'nascent' products into channel where budgets or demand are not always identified
  • Excellent and self-sufficient presentation and writing skills with ability to develop and deliver proposals and presentations up to Board Level
  • Proven ability to thrive in small, unstructured, high growth, entrepreneurial start-up environments
  • Experience in optimising a channel sales structure
